Description

  • Write first drafts of email content under supervision.
  • Draft content for donation forms and landing pages under supervision.
  • Support podmates by getting content reviewed, edited, and ready for client approval.
  • Learn and apply theories of change in email copy.
  • Help produce and launch emails.
  • Learn basic HTML, CSS, and SQL as needed.
  • Learn basic CRM functionalities and the basics of email testing.
  • Pull, read, and interpret email performance metrics.
  • Help set up donation forms and other landing pages.
  • Contribute to email reporting with supervision and keep reports up to date.
  • Attend brainstorms, internal team meetings, and client meetings.
  • Contribute ideas to email calendars and update them as needed.
  • Proof peer emails for accuracy and functionality.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in email fundraising.
  • Creative writing ability.
  • Writing that is generally error-free with minimal typos or grammatical errors.
  • Enthusiasm for data and testing fundraising content.
  • Desire to support fundraising for major political campaigns, nonprofits, and causes.
  • Attention to detail.
