Description

  • Lead, plan, design, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, document, and improve the electrical state of telecommunications networks.
  • Design and evaluate electrical power systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Support resilient, high-availability infrastructure operations in secure environments.
  • Participate in Agile execution and technical planning discussions.
  • Troubleshoot power system issues and operational faults.
  • Communicate technical recommendations and engineering decisions to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain customer trust through technical excellence and disciplined execution.
  • Apply engineering judgment and creativity to deliver mission-aligned solutions.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role when the billet is cyber-coded, such as Security+ as a baseline with SSCP or CISSP for senior practitioners.
  • 8+ years of experience in evaluation, research, design, and analysis of complex electrical power systems supporting IT system power services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading electrical power engineering efforts across planning, design, monitoring, troubleshooting, evaluation, documentation, and acceptance activities.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing electrical systems for data centers and IT infrastructure, including power distribution, grounding, load analysis, UPS, ATS, and battery systems.
  • Operational experience supporting critical infrastructure power systems, including facilities power, redundancy planning, and availability assurance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, or relevant experience may substitute where appropriate.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • Professional Engineer certification where stamped engineering is required, and NFPA 70E certification.
  • Experience with security-coded roles or cyber-coded environments (preferred where applicable).
