Description

  • Work directly with engineers to produce printed circuit board designs supporting Anduril’s products.
  • Apply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies.
  • Implement high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power PCB designs.
  • Lead the establishment of internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs.
  • Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library and database standards.
  • Work across multiple concurrent projects and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in PCB layout or design.
  • Full understanding of PCB layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design.
  • Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management.
  • Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards; CID or CID+ certification preferred.
  • Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools.
  • Experience with developing component libraries and library management.
  • Proven experience in high-speed digital PCB layout for complex FPGA boards, high-resolution video, or multi-gigabit interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, or SerDes.
  • Expertise in critical high-speed layout techniques, including controlled impedance routing, differential pairs, length matching, and optimized stackup design.
  • Deep understanding of signal and power integrity principles, including timing, crosstalk, and EMI/EMC mitigation in high-density designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field preferred.
