Description

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classification environments.
  • Analyze system and application logs with Linux command-line tools to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for service degradation and other advanced operational issues.
  • Provide security guidance to development teams on secure coding practices, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain technical documentation and promote best practices across the team.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to address complex technical requirements.
  • Integrate security practices into the development and operations lifecycle.
  • Support the design, deployment, and management of secure production-grade platform environments.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Certification that satisfies DoD 8140/8570 requirements, such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience as a DevSecOps, DevOps, or similar engineer.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing production-grade Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters.
  • Experience automating infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform or CloudFormation in on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Strong Linux experience and understanding.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and with containerization.
  • Helm chart development experience and STIG experience are highly preferred.

  • Salary range of $180,000 to $200,000.
