Description

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and other incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
  • Analyze anomalies and security breaches and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk.
  • Work with IT, software development, and compliance teams to integrate security across the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of security processes, procedures, configurations, and incident reports.
  • Support and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts for cloud services and solutions from IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR and SIPR.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • 4+ years of experience as a cybersecurity analyst with specialization in Government System ATO support.
  • Strong knowledge of government regulatory frameworks and security standards such as NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Demonstrated experience achieving and maintaining ATO for cloud services and solutions from IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR and SIPR.
  • Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
  • Strong proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis techniques.
  • Experience with government-specific ATO assessment tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification to support DoD 8140 requirements.
