Description

  • Design and develop innovative software solutions that support the business.
  • Write clean, consistent, and scalable code for reliable systems.
  • Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration, and test-driven development efforts.
  • Work with defect tracking, source control, and release management systems to support high-quality software releases.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to design and development activities as part of a Scrum team.
  • Support applications as needed, including transition from development to support and participating in rotating 24x7 shifts.
  • Drive build and release plans and manage actions required to deploy applications to production.
  • Assist with planning, analysis, and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions.
  • Work with business, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver production enhancements and bug fixes.

Requirements

  • Mexican citizens only.
  • 3+ years of professional experience delivering quality software, ideally across the full stack.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Cucumber automation testing, Kafka, databases, Kubernetes, and RESTful services.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, coding, testing, installing, and maintaining complex software programs.
  • Knowledge of Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience with backend databases such as Spanner, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with RESTful architecture and microservices.
  • Strong working knowledge of JSON and XML.
  • Experience with Amazon AWS or GCP services.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing tools, and agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
  • Experience with messaging middleware such as Kafka or SQS.
  • Experience writing and consuming services using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, React, JavaScript, or C# is a plus.
