Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients regarding financial products, accounts, and services.
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries by phone, email, and live chat.
  • Assist clients with account queries, transaction disputes, payment questions, and general product information.
  • Record and maintain detailed client interaction logs and case notes in the CRM system.
  • Escalate complex complaints and sensitive client concerns to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Educate clients on the institution’s financial products and services to support retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and back-office finance teams to resolve client issues.
  • Follow internal regulatory guidelines, KYC protocols, and anti-fraud procedures.
  • Ensure interactions meet financial industry service standards and data protection requirements.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent German language skills, with C1 or C2 level proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Valid EU passport or EU citizenship is mandatory.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in finance, banking, insurance, or fintech, is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, financial compliance standards, and data privacy requirements.
  • Strong digital literacy with CRM platforms, MS Office tools, and customer communication systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a client-first mindset, professionalism, and empathy.
  • High attention to detail when handling sensitive financial matters.
