Description

  • Meet with wealth advisors, financial planners, and Wealth Solutions team members to review, fund, and maintain estate plans.
  • Learn and apply advanced estate planning strategies.
  • Build a book of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Review and summarize existing estate planning documents and recommend changes or additions based on legal and family changes.
  • Answer general estate planning questions from clients and advisor teams.
  • Serve as an in-house estate planning resource for wealth management teams nationwide.
  • Stay current on estate, trust, and tax legislation across the country.
  • Support business development through presentations, thought leadership publications, and prospective client meetings.
  • Mentor and coach Estate Planning Strategists.
  • Manage an assigned service specialist’s day-to-day work, training, calendars, time management, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
  • 4-8 years of legal experience in estate planning preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex estate planning topics to wealth management teams and clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Availability during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional early or late hours as needed.
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office free of interruptions.
  • Basic technology needs will be provided for the role.
  • Experience with estate, trust, and tax legislation is preferred.
  • Experience with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients is implied by the role.

  • Base salary range of $136,000 to $160,000 USD.
