Description

  • Develop group structure strategies by evaluating legal forms, ownership chains, IP arrangements, payment flows, and related tax and regulatory implications.
  • Ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support licensing applications for new markets, with a focus on VASP licenses.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate client, partnership, vendor, and NDA contracts to protect the company’s interests.
  • Advise on complex international and cross-border agreements, including dispute resolution and regulatory adherence.
  • Manage account openings and maintenance processes with banks, EMIs, PSPs, and other financial institutions.
  • Conduct due diligence and compliance checks for account applications with financial and crypto institutions.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions and ensure ongoing compliance with their requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks related to multi-asset brokerage and crypto activities in collaboration with compliance teams.
  • Oversee disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel to protect the company’s interests.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law, preferably in international law, corporate law, or finance law.
  • At least 2 years of legal experience focused on international financial services, multi-asset brokerage, and/or VASP.
  • Strong knowledge of international laws and experience with multi-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Experience with account openings and relationship management for EMIs, banks, and PSPs.
  • Hands-on crypto licensing experience, including MiCA/CASP readiness projects and VASP.
  • Experience designing global structures and tax planning in collaboration with tax advisors.
  • Strong analytical skills for scenario analysis, including timeline and risk assessment with management recommendations.
  • Confident preparation of regulatory packs and communication with regulatory authorities.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Diploma-level professional qualification in Compliance or AML, such as ICA, ACAMS, or CISI, is a plus.
  • Experience with CFD/FX brokers, MiFID II, or payments licensing is a plus.
  • Experience launching offices or entities in different locations and negotiating with regulators is a plus.
