Description

  • Design and build knowledge graphs and ontologies for Mendix AI solutions, technical demos, and customer implementations.
  • Own the data and graph architecture workstream within integrated team solutions.
  • Work alongside other Solutions Engineers covering the application and AI layers.
  • Turn validated customer implementations into reusable assets such as reference architectures, blueprints, accelerators, and repeatable patterns.
  • Contribute technical expertise in data and graph to customer engagements, events, and analyst briefings.
  • Ground go-to-market positioning and storytelling in validated technical proof points.
  • Support executive demos and analyst briefings with high-impact technical narratives.
  • Feed implementation learnings back into Product and Go-To-Market teams.
  • Help prove high-value use cases through lighthouse implementations and scale what works across the broader ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience designing and building knowledge graphs and ontologies.
  • Strong understanding of graph data modeling, semantic modeling, and ontology design.
  • Experience with graph database platforms and query languages such as SPARQL, Cypher, or equivalent.
  • Data engineering fundamentals, including pipelines, data preparation, and integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and operational systems.
  • Ability to translate data and graph architectures into reusable patterns and clear technical narratives.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across Product, GTM, engineering, and customer stakeholders.
  • Understanding that this is not a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Experience supporting AI and agentic application use cases is relevant to the role.
  • Preferred experience working in enterprise-facing technical solution roles or customer implementations.
