Description

  • Own and develop a designated territory for compute sales and revenue growth.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for compute offerings in the territory.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close compute opportunities through inbound and outbound motions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for compute across Megaport and Latitude.sh sales and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and customer success managers to support solution selling, retain revenue, and deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, including engagement with decision makers, influencers, and internal champions.
  • Maintain an accurate weekly forecast funnel and report pipeline progress against quota.
  • Gather market, client, and business-model insights to inform territory penetration strategies.
  • Partner with the channel sales team on campaigns and programs to drive value.
  • Work with Product and Procurement to share customer feedback and identify product or solution improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven success selling enterprise solutions in the Bare Metal/Compute-as-a-Service space, with consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • 3+ years of experience in IaaS, cloud infrastructure, or data center solutions, preferably in a sales or overlay role.
  • Working knowledge of compute hardware, networking, and data center environments.
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles and engaging with C-level executives.
  • Working knowledge of the compute competitive landscape and regional business market.
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing, and relationship-building skills.
  • First-class verbal and written communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, globally distributed environment.
  • Willingness to travel roughly 30% of the time.
  • Experience leveraging relationships within agent channels (preferred).
