Description

  • Align event strategies and concepts with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including Fortune 1000 executives, and manage event communications.
  • Source and manage vendors while ensuring creative deliverables meet brand standards.
  • Own production from initial scoping through execution, including technical run of show development and speaker rehearsals.
  • Lead onsite crews, technical rehearsals, presenters, and event decision-making as the primary onsite contact.
  • Manage budgets, billable hours, logistics, contingency planning, and competing project deadlines.
  • Participate in pitches, site visits, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage client accounts autonomously and deliver cue-by-cue onsite production for general sessions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of event industry experience, including 3–5 years producing large-scale corporate conferences and high-profile programs.
  • Proven ability to create technical, cue-by-cue runs of show and lead rehearsals, stage management, and onsite execution.
  • Executive presence and experience managing complex relationships with Fortune 1000 executives, clients, and vendors.
  • Experience scoping billable hours, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, and managing large event budgets.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, resolve ambiguity, and develop clear processes.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented multitasker who can manage overlapping projects and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, constructive approach.
  • Commitment to kindness, humility, and accountability.
  • Show-calling experience preferred.
  • Experience incorporating AI into event concepts, agendas, sessions, or attendee engagement preferred.
  • Experience scripting and directing speechwriters, graphic designers, video editors, and other creative-technical contributors preferred.
  • Ability to travel onsite approximately 30% of the time, or 6–7 days per month, domestically and occasionally internationally.
