Description

  • Monitor intake queues throughout the day for new orders, record updates, and service cancellations.
  • Input new orders received by phone, fax, or email into the company’s customized system.
  • Verify order information and identify missing or incorrect details before processing.
  • Communicate directly with customers, referring sources, and care managers to resolve intake issues.
  • Navigate healthcare portals and online resources to find information needed to complete orders.
  • Enter all relevant customer and order information into the database accurately.
  • Correct existing customer records when changes are reported.
  • Cancel customer accounts or services when requested or required.
  • Answer inbound phone calls and emails on a daily basis.
  • Work collaboratively with the intake team and other departments while handling confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Minimum associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must pass a successful background check and FBI fingerprinting.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and able to adapt to change.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and determine when information is missing or incorrect.
  • Friendly phone demeanor for direct contact with customers and referring sources.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Permanent residency in PA, DE, GA, MI, NC, TX, NJ, or FL required.
  • Must be able to complete daily assigned tasks and work a 9:00am-5:00pm EST schedule.
