Description

  • Directly manage the execution lifecycle for three cross-functional software teams.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering output and product requirements.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Schedule and run team ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Use retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team velocity and quality.
  • Own the configuration, hygiene, workflows, and automation of JIRA boards.
  • Establish reporting dashboards, burndown charts, and velocity trackers to provide visibility into work in progress.
  • Drive the intake and triage process for bugs and feature requests.
  • Partner with Product Managers to facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization sessions.
  • Communicate technical progress and project health updates to stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for delivery timelines and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program or project management overseeing multiple software engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to discuss technical topics with engineers.
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, including custom workflows, JQL, and reporting.
  • Deep experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience managing three or more cross-functional software teams is implied by the role focus.
  • Experience with process improvement, delivery tracking, and agile ceremony facilitation is strongly preferred.
