Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of HRIS administrators through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development support.
  • Assign and prioritize team workloads to ensure tickets, projects, and operational tasks are completed within SLA.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Workday HCM issues and unresolved team cases.
  • Oversee technical support for Workday HCM modules and ensure issues are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Lead and coordinate bi-annual Workday system upgrades, including planning, testing, and feature analysis.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configurations and drive system enhancements end to end.
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of HR data entered and updated in Workday.
  • Define and maintain documentation, process, and governance standards for the HRIS team.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts, including scenario identification, test script development, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders on requirements, system changes, outages, and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Workday Admin experience, including at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Hands-on experience across Workday HCM, reporting, talent, absence, benefits, and compensation modules.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a team, with the ability to delegate, coach, and manage performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex escalations.
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a global organization with cross-functional responsibilities.
  • Experience with EIB / Mass uploads is preferred.
  • Workday Pro Certification in one or more modules is preferred.
  • Experience hiring and onboarding HRIS talent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS project management and change management practices is preferred.
