Description

  • Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models and project documentation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models through reviews, clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and field teams on VDC objectives.
  • Prepare and manage federated models and coordination files using Navisworks and other VDC platforms.
  • Perform model quality-control reviews and ensure compliance with project and company standards.
  • Support constructability reviews, field implementation, model-based coordination, and project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot Revit and Navisworks issues and escalate complex technical challenges.
  • Assist with BIM training, mentoring, workflow development, and continuous process improvement.
  • For lead roles, manage VDC support across projects, BIM Execution Plans, schedules, budgets, teams, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in VDC, BIM coordination, design technology, construction, engineering, or a related field; lead roles require 4+ years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, including models, views, sheets, families, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks for model review, coordination, and clash detection.
  • Lead-level proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other VDC/BIM software.
  • Understanding of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, construction methods, MEP systems, and project lifecycles.
  • Experience with model integration, clash detection, Revit schedules, troubleshooting, and coordination workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Estimated annual salary: $60,000–$78,000 for Level I, $84,500–$112,000 for Level II, and $99,700–$127,700 for Lead.
