Description

  • Design and ship end-to-end AI agent systems using Anthropic Claude to automate complex multi-step workflows that currently require manual judgment.
  • Build MCP connectors, including custom integrations for platforms that do not have official connectors.
  • Use Claude Code as part of the daily engineering workflow to build, test, and maintain production systems.
  • Develop prompts and rubrics as versioned, testable artifacts with eval sets and feedback loops.
  • Build reviewer surfaces such as email or Slack handlers, Airtable Interfaces, or lightweight Next.js apps when human approval is needed.
  • Audit existing Make, Zapier, GHL, and Airtable automations for opportunities to add AI where it meaningfully improves performance.
  • Propose, design, and implement AI upgrades to existing workflows in partnership with the Tech Lead and Automations Specialist.
  • Write production-grade code and operate an engineering process with Git, code review, separate environments, and secrets management.
  • Build testable systems with unit tests, integration tests, eval harnesses, logging, error tracking, and monitoring.
  • Design idempotent, event-driven pipelines with retry logic and dead-letter handling.
  • Continuously identify and prioritize new AI automation opportunities across MDS workflows.
  • Document every shipped system with a README, architecture note, and runbook so others can maintain it.
  • Partner with Operations, Revenue, Community, and Events to understand and improve their workflows through automation.
  • Coach the Automations Specialist on AI patterns, prompt engineering, and debugging agent-backed workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
  • Node.js experience is expected.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with Claude, including daily use of Claude Code.
  • Experience building something real with the Anthropic API, Agent SDK, or a similar agent framework.
  • At least one shipped project involving an LLM agent or MCP, with a repo, deployed app, video walkthrough, or writeup.
  • Comfort building and deploying small Next.js or similar apps on Vercel, Render, or Railway.
  • Experience with webhook receivers, retries, idempotency, and secrets management.
  • Strong engineering hygiene: Git, code review, testing, environments, and observability.
  • Familiarity with Airtable, Go High Level, ClickUp, Google Workspace, and Slack, or close analogs.
  • Automation platform fluency with Make, Zapier, or an equivalent no-code/low-code tool.
  • Ability to write documentation, present proposals, and collaborate in English at a strong written and verbal level.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a track record of spotting problems and shipping solutions without waiting to be asked.
  • Preferred: experience building custom MCP servers for platforms without official connectors.
  • Preferred: experience with LLM eval frameworks such as Braintrust, Langfuse, Promptfoo, or internal harnesses.
  • Preferred: experience with event or community operations software like Luma, Hubilo, or Cvent, or community platforms like Circle or Mighty Networks.
  • Preferred: experience working on a small tech team and shipping across the stack.
  • Preferred: background in membership, community, or event-driven organizations.

  • Salary of $5,000 to $7,500 USD per month, paid in USD.
