Description

  • Define and communicate the long-term data architecture vision in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead migration of data pipelines to Microsoft Fabric and promotion of data to the curated golden layer.
  • Design and evolve Azure data lake and Delta Lake architectures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate and select data technologies, frameworks, and implementation standards.
  • Establish data management and governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders and business stakeholders to translate requirements and constraints into actionable solutions.
  • Identify complex platform challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance, review architectural decisions, and resolve implementation issues.
  • Ensure architecture complies with data security regulations and standards.
  • Mentor team members and represent data architecture in technical, strategic, and external forums.

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in data platform architecture, data modeling, and large-scale ELT processes.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience designing and implementing data lakes and Delta Lake architectures.
  • Experience guiding teams through complex technology migrations and architectural changes.
  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to explain complex data architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant Azure or Microsoft Fabric certifications preferred.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and security compliance standards preferred.
  • Experience working with technology vendors and presenting architectural strategy to executive or cross-functional audiences preferred.
