Description

  • Identify and close new enterprise customers within a defined territory.
  • Grow Matillion’s footprint with existing customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to deal closure.
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to maximize new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Build and manage relationships with technology and consulting partners to create new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with SDR, marketing, channel, product, and solution architecture teams.
  • Translate customer technical challenges into clear business value propositions.
  • Navigate enterprise software contracts and RFP processes.
  • Manage pipeline effectively while independently sourcing and onboarding new customers.
  • Continuously learn and apply new sales techniques to improve performance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle sales experience in a complex technology solution-selling environment.
  • Consistent achievement of $1M+ ARR quotas.
  • Track record of sourcing and closing six-figure deals.
  • Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Force Management, or Value Selling.
  • Experience navigating large enterprise software contracts and RFP processes.
  • Proven ability to independently source, manage, develop, and onboard new customers.
  • Strong ability to uncover technical challenges and communicate business value to multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working in a direct sales and partnership development model (preferred).
  • Based in or able to work the Boston market / East Coast USA field territory.

  • Total on-target annual earnings of $213,000 - $320,000 with variable commission pay.
