Description

  • Build, manage, and optimize strategic relationships with network partners across payment, debit, ATM, and money movement providers.
  • Develop and execute a holistic network partnership strategy aligned with company growth goals and product needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee contractual obligations to secure favorable terms and minimize risk.
  • Maximize growth opportunities by identifying new business opportunities, expanding offerings, and advancing innovation initiatives with partners.
  • Drive economic optimization by managing incentives, compensation structures, and other commercial terms.
  • Partner with sales, product, legal, marketing, and other internal teams to execute partnership initiatives and resolve escalations.
  • Establish and track KPIs for network partnerships and report performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to inform partnership strategy.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for network partners and maintain clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in card payments and issuing, financial services, global partnership management, or similar roles.
  • Experience with payment network partnerships, domestic and global, or financial products/services is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading and managing strategic partnerships at a senior level.
  • Extensive experience negotiating payment network commercial agreements and optimizing financial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the card payments and issuance ecosystem, including network operations, products, and incentives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach and comfort working with senior leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
