Description

  • Define the enterprise AI and automation strategy, including responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and a multi-quarter adoption roadmap.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases across business units.
  • Map enterprise workflows to identify opportunities for step-change improvements through AI and automation.
  • Define functional and technical requirements for internal AI and automation platforms and serve as the primary proxy for BT engineering.
  • Work with Architecture Review Boards and the AI Steering Committee to ensure solutions meet IT standards and governance requirements.
  • Design and lead the plan-and-commit process for AI and automation technology requests.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed AI initiatives.
  • Own the AI portfolio backlog, prioritize work against business outcomes, and maintain stakeholder visibility into status and value.
  • Oversee QA, UAT, sprint demos, deployment windows, and hypercare for major releases.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and vendors, run pilots, lead vendor selection and negotiations, and manage ongoing contracts.
  • Own the enterprise AI rollout plan and drive adoption, change management, and post-launch stabilization across the organization.
  • Design and own the enterprise AI metrics framework and report progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in IT product management, including at least 2 years focused on AI or emerging technology products.
  • Experience building internal-facing enterprise AI systems or platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities such as summarization, classification, generation, and agentic workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, defects, and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise applications or internal platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across business units, finance, legal, and security stakeholders.
  • Comfort working hands-on with AI tooling, including evaluating platforms, configuring agents, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience with no-code or low-code AI platforms such as Workato or similar is a strong plus.
  • Change management experience and ability to drive adoption, not just deployment.
  • Fintech or regulated industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely anywhere within Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.
