Description

  • Lead customer AI reviews, security reviews, DPAs, and data processing negotiations for complex enterprise accounts.
  • Guide customers through governance conversations with empathy, curiosity, and clear policy framing.
  • Develop customer-facing governance materials, including trust center content, model cards, audit and access narratives, and questionnaire responses.
  • Own and refine the Data Philosophy and Usage Framework, including data classifications, AI governance policy, retention, and cross-tenant rules.
  • Update policy, positioning, and enablement when customer needs expose gaps or changes are required.
  • Create external thought leadership through published positions, conference talks, whitepapers, and analyst briefings.
  • Maintain alignment between internal controls and external frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001, SOC 2, state privacy laws, and EU pay transparency rules.
  • Bring customer signal into product discussions, including design reviews, PRD reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Translate policy into concrete product requirements such as audit trails, privilege handling, discoverability, AI approval workflows, and data lifecycle controls.
  • Partner with Sales, CX, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Security on enablement, commitments, and execution.

Requirements

  • Experience leading customer-facing governance, privacy, security, or AI review conversations in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to write and defend plain-English policy positions under pressure to counsel, CISOs, and analysts.
  • Ability to translate between regulator language, customer procurement language, and engineering language.
  • Strong judgment for deciding when to adjust policy, adjust product, or hold firm and reframe a customer request.
  • Experience reading PRDs and identifying governance or compliance gaps before product launch.
  • Ability to operate as a peer to Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, CX, and Sales.
  • Comfort creating or maintaining frameworks, playbooks, and customer-facing governance artifacts.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, data usage, privacy, and compliance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and privacy laws.
  • Experience in compensation, pay governance, or enterprise HR/finance technology is strongly relevant (preferred).
  • Thought leadership experience such as speaking, publishing, or analyst engagement is preferred.
