Description

  • Apply statistical and analytical methods such as regression, clustering, forecasting, and classification to solve business problems.
  • Design and build end-to-end analytical solutions from data extraction through actionable insights and automated reporting.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, analytical frameworks, and tooling using Python and SQL.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate experimentation, code generation, and analysis.
  • Leverage LLMs, embeddings, and generative AI to automate and enhance analytical workflows.
  • Build lightweight applications and APIs to deliver models and insights to stakeholders.
  • Own data architecture decisions including schema design, data modeling, and pipeline reliability within your domain.
  • Communicate results, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
  • Map and improve business processes through data-driven analysis and process design.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a quantitative field.
  • Expert-level SQL with deep fluency in BigQuery and MariaDB or similar data platforms.
  • Strong Python and/or JavaScript skills with production-quality coding experience.
  • Deep understanding of analytical methods including regression, clustering, time series, A/B testing, and classification.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, including warehouses, lakes, and pipelines.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, Cursor, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical work in a decision-oriented way.
  • Self-managing and self-sufficient, with the ability to set priorities and deliver independently.
  • Relentlessly curious and ambitious, with a strong bias toward continuous learning and building.
  • A public GitHub profile showcasing projects, experiments, or contributions.
  • Experience with Next.js or modern frontend frameworks for building data-facing applications.
  • FastAPI experience for serving models or internal tooling.
  • Background in business process analysis or operational process design.
  • Experience working across multiple business departments such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, or Engineering.
  • Experience with JSON-based data formats, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
