Description

  • Apply statistical and analytical methods such as regression, clustering, forecasting, classification, and A/B testing to solve business problems.
  • Design and build end-to-end analytical solutions from data extraction through reporting and insight generation.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, analytical frameworks, and tooling using Python and SQL.
  • Write sophisticated SQL queries in BigQuery and MariaDB to support analysis and data modeling.
  • Use AI-powered development tools and LLM-based workflows to accelerate experimentation, code generation, and analysis.
  • Build lightweight applications and APIs with FastAPI to deliver models and insights to stakeholders.
  • Own data architecture decisions, including schema design, data modeling, and pipeline reliability.
  • Communicate results, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
  • Map and improve business processes through data-driven analysis and process design.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a quantitative field.
  • Expert-level SQL skills with deep fluency in BigQuery and MariaDB or similar data platforms.
  • Strong Python and/or JavaScript skills with experience writing production-quality code.
  • Deep understanding of analytical methods including regression, clustering, time series, A/B testing, and classification.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, including warehouses, lakes, pipelines, and analytical and ML workloads.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, Cursor, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical work in a decision-driving way.
  • Self-managing and self-sufficient, with the ability to set priorities and deliver independently.
  • Relentlessly curious and ambitious, with a strong habit of learning and building continuously.
  • A public GitHub profile showcasing projects, experiments, or contributions.
  • Experience with Next.js or other modern frontend frameworks for building data-facing applications (nice to have).
  • FastAPI experience for serving models or internal tooling (nice to have).
  • Background in business process analysis or operational process design (nice to have).
  • Experience working across multiple business departments such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, or Engineering (nice to have).
  • Experience with JSON-based data formats, APIs, and integration patterns (nice to have).
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including containerization and cluster orchestration (nice to have).
