Description

  • Observe roofing, paving, and building envelope projects on-site to verify compliance with contract specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and company quality standards.
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and submittals to support field oversight.
  • Document contractor performance, material storage, installation methods, and deck conditions for compliance.
  • Verify nightly watertight conditions and final system integrity on active job sites.
  • Participate in punch list reviews and warranty inspections.
  • Follow Mantis safety policies and procedures and maintain required PPE on jobsites.
  • Complete job hazard analysis forms and take part in safety briefings.
  • Report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Create detailed daily observation reports with photographic evidence.
  • Use tablets and field software tools to record, upload, and communicate project data with PMs, contractors, and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tablet-based field tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, roofing, or facility assessment roles preferred.
  • Previous CQA or project inspection experience preferred.
  • Roofing Technology Certificate or related certifications preferred.
  • RCI/IIBEC coursework or certifications preferred.
  • Experience with pavement or building envelope technologies preferred.
