Description

  • Develop personalized legal strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances.
  • Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants to support accurate and timely document preparation.
  • Conduct initial case reviews to identify legal issues and assess client needs.
  • Represent clients in Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews before USCIS.
  • Serve as Attorney of the Day and provide legal guidance to the team.
  • Attend operational meetings and participate in Consultation Day events.
  • Manage a full caseload while working directly with clients and coordinating with paralegals, support staff, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Bar license.
  • 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with native or fluent proficiency.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and immigration case management systems, including Camplegal.
  • Ability to work 45 to 50 hours per week.
  • Growth-oriented, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with family-based immigration matters, consular processing, and waivers is required or strongly preferred.
