Description

  • Drive safety, quality, and best-practice standards across projects.
  • Oversee project scope, schedules, costs, and stakeholder requirements from development engineering through commercial operation.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, administrators, permitting consultants, construction management, and QA/QC personnel.
  • Manage the RFP process, including contractor sourcing, bid review, selection, award, and scope negotiation.
  • Oversee site construction management, QA/QC processes, and site health and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, site owners, authorities having jurisdiction, utilities, and internal teams to resolve project issues.
  • Manage product specifications, submittal reviews, approvals, change orders, and contracted-scope reconciliation.
  • Maintain site records, inspection documentation, maintenance schedules, and operational updates.
  • Manage project cash flow and provide financial forecasts, executive status reports, milestone updates, and risk assessments.
  • Direct project turnover, warranty administration, closeout documentation, and records retention.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management or site-operations experience in power generation, distributed energy resources, or utility-scale facilities larger than 10 MW.
  • Experience operating and maintaining power generators or similar systems across all phases of project development.
  • Knowledge of contracting, procurement planning, construction logistics, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with utility interconnection processes, grid integration studies, and coordination with electrical utilities.
  • Experience with environmental review, land-use zoning, and permitting frameworks.
  • Ability to use industry tools to track project costs and budget allocations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Procore or similar project management software.
  • Ability to travel to job sites up to 25% of the time.
