Description

  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare and record revenue journal entries in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards.
  • Analyze invoices and billing data to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with operations and billing teams to resolve revenue discrepancies.
  • Perform detailed expense reconciliations for corporate credit cards, employee reimbursements, prepaid expenses, and vendor accounts.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports to analyze financial data and support close and reporting processes.
  • Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Research cash application transactions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA candidate or CPA eligible.
  • 5-8 years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • NetSuite ERP experience preferred.
  • BILL experience preferred.
