Description

  • Build coverage across AWS U.S. sales territories and develop relationships with account managers, ISMs, partner-development managers, and specialist sellers.
  • Reach out to AWS field teams, follow up consistently, and attend AWS Summits, re:Invent, and regional partner events to expand named relationships.
  • Explain Mactores' agent-native AWS modernization approach in business terms and differentiate it from other partners in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Anchor conversations in shipped case studies, including named customers, baselines, outcomes, time-to-value, and cost reduction.
  • Identify customer fit, frame the business problem, and articulate Mactores' business value to qualify opportunities.
  • Set up meetings and tee up technical demos, then hand off qualified conversations to the forward-deployed engineer for architecture and technical walkthroughs.
  • Source Amazon-originated opportunities and register them in ACE.
  • Keep AWS reps informed throughout the sales cycle and push deals forward through close.
  • Feed market signals back to Mactores leadership about customer needs, partner conversations, and messaging that resonates.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or partner-development role.
  • Demonstrated ability to source qualified pipeline from a cold start.
  • Comfort speaking with AWS field teams and building relationships with partner stakeholders.
  • Prior work at an AWS partner is preferred.
  • Exposure to AWS Partner Central, ACE, or MAP is preferred.
  • Experience attending AWS Summits or re:Invent is preferred.
  • Comfort with cloud modernization, data platforms, and agentic AI concepts.
  • Ability to read an architecture diagram and discuss case studies without being the engineer in the room.
  • Strong business-value articulation and ability to restate complex customer problems clearly and concisely.
  • Self-managed work style suitable for a remote, distributed team.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% across U.S. AWS offices, customer sites, and events.
