Description

  • Automate infrastructure creation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Manage application configuration and deployment through infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Own the build and release cycle for customer projects.
  • Support release deployments and ongoing operations and maintenance activities.
  • Improve and maintain operational tooling, including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Consul, Graphite, and Grafana.
  • Provide operational support to the engineering team and help migrate dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud.
  • Establish and maintain operational best practices for cloud and deployment workflows.
  • Participate in hiring engineers who fit the company culture.
  • Support engineers with career path guidance and consulting.
  • Collaborate with the founders on team strategy and direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • 4+ years of configuration management and engineering experience for large-scale customers, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git, including branching and merging strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure and platform services.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
  • Exposure to container services on AWS such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
  • Experience working across multiple cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate certification (preferred).
  • AWS DevOps Professional certification (preferred).
