Description

  • Define and execute a multi-year data and AI strategy aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics across the business.
  • Establish data governance, data quality, and ethical AI practices to ensure integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Build, lead, and develop teams across Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, AI Platform, and AI/ML Engineering.
  • Foster a data-driven culture and increase data literacy across the organization.
  • Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable data platforms and AI infrastructure.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives from ideation and experimentation through deployment, monitoring, and business impact measurement.
  • Manage budgets, technology decisions, and vendor relationships for data and AI tools and infrastructure.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations leaders to embed data and AI into products and business processes.
  • Present strategy, roadmaps, and results to the executive team and board of directors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in AI, machine learning, data science, data engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience at the Sr Director or VP level managing large, diverse technical teams.
  • Proven experience defining and executing an enterprise-wide data and AI strategy with measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in modern data architecture, cloud-based data platforms, ideally AWS, and data warehousing, ideally Snowflake.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and the full machine learning and GenAI lifecycle at scale.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models, LLMs, statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning techniques.
  • High proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical work into strategic opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
