Description

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify requirements and design complex, performant business solutions.
  • Configure and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud features such as Omni-Channel, Lightning Service Console, Case Management, Entitlements, Milestones, and Knowledge.
  • Architect and build scalable integrations between Salesforce and third-party enterprise systems such as telephony, ERP, and Jira.
  • Customize Salesforce using declarative and coded tools including Lightning Pages, Flow Builder, Apex triggers and classes, and Lightning Components.
  • Develop integration strategies and implement APIs, middleware, and connectors to automate business processes and data flow.
  • Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, improve performance, and enhance the user experience.
  • Recommend technology improvements, development best practices, standardization, and platform upgrades.
  • Maintain development and test sandbox instances and support internal release environments.
  • Document implementations, integration configurations, protocols, and best practices, and provide training and support to end users and stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert for sales and sales-support processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform in a technical and/or functional role delivering custom enterprise solutions.
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Force.com APIs, and Web Services, or equivalent programming experience.
  • 5+ years of general technical development and support experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions in Salesforce Service Cloud using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working with GTM teams and sales teams is essential.
  • Prior CPQ experience, including at least one end-to-end CPQ implementation, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with stakeholders and colleagues locally and remotely.
  • Ability to integrate multiple SaaS systems with Salesforce using integration applications and custom-built integrations via REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Ability to create data mapping and transformation processes that maintain data consistency, accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Deep familiarity with the Salesforce security model.
  • Strong problem identification, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Intimate knowledge of Salesforce platform governor limits to support large data volumes and large user bases.
  • Experience with Agile tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, SVN, or similar IDEs/tools preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Service Cloud Consultant preferred.
  • Experience architecting and implementing practical AI use cases in the Salesforce ecosystem, such as Einstein Prediction Builder, Next Best Action, Copilot, or generative AI features, preferred.
