Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from proactive prospecting through qualification, deal inspection, and close.
  • Build and influence relationships with stakeholders from the C-suite to end users across complex buying committees.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand client challenges and tailor solutions to prospect needs.
  • Manage a defined territory with strong account knowledge, prioritization, and business ownership.
  • Navigate internal politics, competitive environments, and long sales cycles with resiliency and adaptability.
  • Work in person with frequent travel of up to 50% to client sites and events.
  • Maintain a customer-first focus while anticipating evolving client needs and building trust.
  • Drive results through disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and consistent quota attainment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Proven track record closing deals over $1M in benefits, health tech, medical device, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Experience selling into state and local government public sector organizations or labor unions is highly desired.
  • History of quotas above $1M with consistent attainment over the past two years.
  • Experience managing extended enterprise sales cycles lasting more than 12 months.
  • Experience with RFP management, legal negotiations, and consensus building across large buying committees.
  • Strong Salesforce discipline and forecasting accuracy.
  • Knowledge of state and local public sector procurement and contracting processes is highly preferred.
  • Formal sales training is a plus.
  • Preference for candidates based in PST, MST, or CST time zones.
