Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for custodians needing critical incident support and advise on clinical interventions and crisis response programmes.
  • Work with global subsidiaries and partners to review, approve, and support critical incident services.
  • Accurately record all case-related information in the database for clinical management.
  • Request, manage, and coordinate critical incident costing and customer quotations for approval.
  • Provide onsite or virtual clinical critical incident support and counselling where appropriate.
  • Engage customers and stakeholders to ensure critical incident and disruptive event services are effectively implemented.
  • Participate in formal and ad hoc meetings with Client Services and customers to ensure clear understanding of services delivered.
  • Create client protocols and supporting documentation in collaboration with Client Services and Marketing.
  • Support administrative duties related to crisis-related care delivery for global customers.
  • Be available for rotational weekend standby and occasional after-hours response to urgent requests.

Requirements

  • Master’s qualification as a Psychologist, Counsellor, or equivalent.
  • Registration with the relevant psychological or counselling board in the candidate’s country.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with trauma and critical incidents.
  • Sound understanding of trauma and disruptive events theory and paradigms.
  • Computer literacy and confidence adopting new technologies.
  • Ability to merge clinical and critical incident focus effectively.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Articulate and competent English communication skills.
  • Good telephone manner and ability to provide telephonic therapy.
  • Strong clinical understanding, administration skills, and time management ability.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure with swift response times.
  • Business and commercial awareness with basic financial administration capability.
  • Must be based in Malaysia and able to work remotely with reliable power, Wi-Fi, and a smartphone for system authentication.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings outside standard local working hours and travel locally or regionally when required.

Benefits

  • Remote role based in Malaysia.
  • Standard 5-day schedule, 8 hours per day, from 07:00 to 16:00.
  • Rotational weekend standby duties approximately every 3–5 weeks.
  • Opportunity to support global customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites in Malaysia or the region when needed.
