Description

  • Support a range of procurement transformation projects, including source-to-pay technology strategy, purchasing process improvement, operations performance, change management, and program/project management.
  • Lead strategic sourcing events by analyzing spend, developing sourcing strategies, conducting RFPs, evaluating bid responses, building business cases, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Assess client procurement operations and identify transformation opportunities through procurement analysis, including supplier spend, vendor master data, category savings, buy-pay channels, and compliance.
  • Analyze third-party spend against internal and external data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that can inform category strategies and cost savings.
  • Lead workstreams for maturity assessments across procurement capabilities, processes, and overall operations.
  • Develop prioritization frameworks and transformation roadmaps for procurement opportunities.
  • Create data-driven business cases for transformational change programs.
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts to support successful delivery.
  • Contribute procurement knowledge and best practices across the source-to-pay lifecycle.
  • Support internal initiatives, thought leadership, and practice-building activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional services consulting experience.
  • Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm background preferred.
  • Additional industry experience in a strategic sourcing or procurement function is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, procure-to-pay processes, item cost analysis, supply chain risk management, basic financial modeling, accounts payable, process optimization, change management, performance improvement, and project management.
  • Comfort leading moderately complex client working sessions and presentations.
  • Foundational client relationship management skills and interest in supporting the sales process.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Prior experience with Tableau, Lucid Software, and/or Power BI preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
  • Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in line with firm policies and client standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Supply chain or procurement designations or external certifications preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed upon client request.
