Description

  • Conduct clinical safety and quality monitoring of Lyra AI tools to ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
  • Execute clinical escalation protocols to support client safety and treatment effectiveness.
  • Participate in rigorous clinical testing to verify that AI tools meet safety and quality requirements.
  • Select and develop representative clinical scenarios, including safety and distress cases, to support AI tool development.
  • Write gold-standard responses to specific clinical situations to maximize the helpfulness and effectiveness of AI tools.
  • Evaluate AI responses in a systematic and reliable way to assess clinical quality.
  • Synthesize areas for improvement to help AI tools meet clinical safety and effectiveness criteria.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to support the development of AI tools.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a clinical track such as MSW, MFT, MC, or MMHC, or a PsyD/PhD in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
  • 4+ years of primarily full-time direct clinical experience post-licensure.
  • Strong training and experience in safety risk assessment and management, including suicidal ideation and self-harm.
  • Experience conducting clinical quality assurance or clinical auditing to ensure high standards of care.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, IPT, EFT, and ACT.
  • Passion for expanding access to evidence-based mental health care through technology at scale.
  • Experience with the clinical application of generative AI and LLMs in a mental health context is a plus.
  • Strong training and experience providing culturally responsive care is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, remain flexible, navigate uncertainty, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
