Description

  • Build data-enrichment and scoring systems that analyze behavioral signals and surface proactive recommendations for agents.
  • Evolve an autonomous SMS- and phone-based AI system that nurtures, qualifies, and follows up with real estate leads over long time periods.
  • Design a unified contact data model that consolidates email sync, third-party CRMs, enrichment providers, and agent input into a single source of truth.
  • Implement bidirectional sync and cross-source deduplication across contact and CRM data sources.
  • Build AI-driven workflow automation features such as Smart Actions, Smart Tasks, and Deals Pipeline.
  • Shape platform architecture and technical direction for an AI-augmented engineering organization.
  • Lead high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and executive stakeholders to communicate tradeoffs and drive outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time in senior or staff-level roles.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments, with AWS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems such as Kafka and SQS, and distributed databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Expert-level grasp of software design principles and experience with multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code as a core part of the workflow.
  • Strong opinions, loosely held, about how AI changes software architecture, team structure, and engineering culture.
  • Clear, direct communication skills for working with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment with real ownership.
  • Experience with the listed tech stack: React, Tailwind, Apollo, Node/TypeScript microservices, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda, Temporal, Kafka, and SQS.
