Description

  • Lead platform architecture and technical strategy for AI-powered marketing and growth features.
  • Design, build, and operate cloud-native, scalable microservices and multi-tenant platform components.
  • Implement a self-serve advertising system that enables agents to purchase, launch, and manage Meta and Google ad campaigns with automated campaign creation, flexible budgeting, and real-time performance reporting.
  • Build AI-driven media pipelines to generate on-brand social video content from listing and agent data and automate publishing to platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Design data models and event-driven architectures that enable full-funnel attribution from ad dollar to closed deal (connecting ad clicks, AI conversations, and deal stages).
  • Develop systems to improve SEO and GEO capabilities for clients across traditional search engines and AI-powered generative search experiences.
  • Use AI agents and tools (e.g., Claude Code) in the engineering workflow to write, review, and ship production code and improve developer productivity.
  • Lead end-to-end initiatives from concept through production, collaborating closely with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
  • Raise engineering standards, mentor peers, and help define the structure and processes of an AI-augmented engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful time in senior or staff-level roles.
  • Deep expertise with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS), and distributed databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Proven track record leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment and experience with multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Expert-level grasp of software design principles and systems thinking that connect technical decisions to customer outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the stated tech stack: React, Tailwind, Apollo, Node/TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda, Temporal.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development workflows (Claude/Anthropic or similar) and building AI-powered products (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tradeoffs to product, design, and executive stakeholders; comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced roadmaps.
