Description

  • Design and implement real-time voice agents using ASR, TTS, and LLM-based reasoning.
  • Evaluate voice agent providers with a focus on reliability and stress testing.
  • Build multi-turn, stateful voice conversations with interruption handling, retries, tool use, and fallbacks.
  • Develop evaluation methods to verify that AI agents perform as expected.
  • Fine-tune and adapt STT, TTS, and LLM models for different dialects.
  • Contribute to Lucidya’s AI Agent platform so voice capability is embedded in the product.
  • Deploy AI models into production with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate on MLOps practices for continuous integration, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Work with streaming architectures such as WebSockets, gRPC, SIP, and WebRTC.
  • Analyze call logs and transcripts to continuously improve system performance.
  • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate business problems into AI solutions.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with ethical standards, data privacy requirements, and legal regulations.
  • Document models, algorithms, workflows, and decisions clearly for stakeholders.
  • Stay current with the latest AI research, tools, and best practices and apply them where valuable.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying voice agents with a proven track record of achieving business value.
  • Strong programming skills in Python; Java is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with voice systems such as ASR, TTS, or conversational IVR.
  • Practical experience with likekit or similar tools.
  • Experience deploying AI models into production or production-like environments.
  • Familiarity with speech concepts such as WER, phonemes, prosody, barge-in, and endpointing.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and design innovative AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong systems thinking and understanding of how models behave in real-world environments.
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in a fast-evolving AI landscape.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership beyond task execution.
  • Comfort working in cross-functional, product-driven teams.
  • Ability to clearly document and explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with NLP, conversational AI, or agent-based systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to enterprise AI deployments or SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, monitoring, and model lifecycle management is a plus.
  • Experience working with multilingual or Arabic language data is a plus.
