Description

  • Ensure customers are informed throughout the service experience from initial contact to vehicle handover.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and check-in processes, documenting damage, wear, and transport issues accurately.
  • Check in new vehicles and process pre-delivery inspection documentation through internal channels.
  • Manage loaner agreements and coordinate rental vehicles or rides for customer convenience.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction metrics and uphold high service quality standards.
  • Review and revise work orders, time punches, and labor operations after technician and detailer work is completed.
  • Resolve warranty claim rejections within required timeframes.
  • Obtain customer signatures for service authorization and invoices using DocuSign and collect payment for customer-pay repairs.
  • Explain completed repairs and invoices to customers and answer service-related questions by phone and in person.
  • Perform final quality control checks before vehicles are returned to customers.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of automotive experience in a Service Advisor or front-of-house customer-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and document details to support smooth workflow.
  • Ability to explain automotive terminology and concepts to customers with varying levels of knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn proprietary DMS software.
  • Availability to work full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
  • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; candidates under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
  • AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains, preferred.
  • Startup experience or experience in similarly fast-paced environments, preferred.
