Description

  • Develop and review Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and MuleSoft integration code while providing database administration support.
  • Set technical standards and direction across Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft, Databricks, data platforms, and database administration.
  • Own the roadmap for expanding the team’s ETL, data platform engineering, and DBA capabilities through training, hiring, and process development.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage approximately eight developers across the U.S., Canada, and Asia.
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, career development, workload prioritization, and day-to-day delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable solutions across Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft, and data platforms.
  • Oversee database performance tuning, security, backup and recovery, and data governance.
  • Identify automation and process improvements that increase reliability and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain a personal workload of development and user-story assignments.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, SOQL, and SOSL, including custom development and complex integrations.
  • Hands-on database administration experience covering schema design, performance tuning, security, backup, and recovery across relational databases.
  • Experience with Databricks or another modern data platform preferred.
  • Experience with code-generation tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years leading, managing, or mentoring development teams, preferably in a player-coach role.
  • NetSuite development or administration experience preferred.
  • MuleSoft experience with Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity, or readiness to lead development of these capabilities.
  • Experience managing distributed global teams across multiple time zones preferred.
  • Knowledge of API integration patterns, ETL pipelines, enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and Agile/Scrum skills; relevant Salesforce, MuleSoft, database, or cloud certifications preferred.
