Description

  • Define and lead Lodgify’s GEO strategy as a core acquisition and brand authority channel within the GTM framework.
  • Set channel OKRs, establish the measurement framework, and present GEO performance and strategic direction to marketing leadership and the executive team.
  • Own the GEO roadmap and budget, including prioritization of initiatives and allocation of resources.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions that improve GEO discoverability, including site architecture, structured data, content formats, AI-agent access, and indexation strategy.
  • Work with Sales and Revenue teams to connect GEO to pipeline generation, buying-journey intent mapping, and ICP-level visibility goals.
  • Build and own AI-enabled automation workflows for content production, GEO optimization, and distribution, including programmatic content pipelines and citation monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Content, Brand, Growth, and Performance teams to embed GEO into campaigns, thought leadership, and distribution.
  • Maintain and strengthen Lodgify’s classical SEO foundation, including technical health, crawlability, on-page optimization, authority building, and link strategy.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on AI search, educating stakeholders and translating market changes into actionable strategy.
  • Lead GEO experiments and product integrations with developers, agencies, and AI partners to explore new acquisition opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or AI search optimization.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or channel-ownership role such as Head, Director, Principal, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results with GEO, programmatic SEO, or AI-enabled content workflows.
  • Proven experience owning a search or organic channel strategy end-to-end.
  • Deep expertise in how LLMs retrieve, chunk, and cite content, and how to win share of model across AI-powered search surfaces.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional roadmaps with Product, Engineering, and Sales stakeholders at a decision-making level.
  • Proven ability to drive engineering and product prioritization without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build measurement frameworks, define KPIs, and communicate performance to non-technical audiences.
  • Executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex GEO/AI search strategy into compelling narratives.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in structured data, technical SEO, or AI-agent access protocols such as llms.txt, JSON-LD, plain text/markdown architecture, or crawl efficiency is a plus.
  • Experience developing or shipping AI-driven tools, lead-generation features, or content automation workflows is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a Head, Director, or VP-level role with direct P&L or budget accountability for an organic acquisition channel is a plus.
