Description

  • Shadow client teams and run discovery to identify and prioritize operational pain points.
  • Design the appropriate solution for each problem, including automation, AI agents, integrations, or a combination.
  • Build and integrate solutions with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms.
  • Prototype and ship automation for workflows such as check calls, shipment tracking, carrier qualification, onboarding, and voice or chat-based agents.
  • Tune prompts, agent behavior, and voice or transcription models using production data and real-world edge cases.
  • Identify security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements early and resolve blockers with internal stakeholders.
  • Translate recurring implementation patterns into reusable platform capabilities for product and engineering teams.
  • Work directly with non-technical stakeholders to explain trade-offs, progress, and technical decisions.
  • Debug, re-scope, and improvise solutions in front of customers when issues arise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, including supporting libraries and frameworks for fast prototyping.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated workflows and AI-driven solutions.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining APIs and integrations with third-party or enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Comfort handling live customer issues by debugging, re-scoping, or improvising solutions.
  • Track record of shipping working software quickly in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Experience with voice or transcription-based systems, especially in operational or logistics contexts (preferred).
  • Familiarity with freight, transportation, or supply chain systems such as TMS, WMS, or ERP platforms (preferred).
  • Experience in a growth-stage or startup environment (preferred).
  • Exposure to agent orchestration frameworks or evaluation/monitoring tools for LLM-based systems (preferred).
  • Prior experience owning both software delivery and a customer relationship (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship provided.
