Description

  • Own the design and implementation of critical backend components for mission-critical systems.
  • Build high-volume, low-latency applications with high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Bots & Automation team to architect and build a next-generation bot runtime platform.
  • Design and develop secure, scalable REST-based backend services.
  • Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance services for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Serve as a technical leader and mentor to a small team of engineers.
  • Debug production issues, maintain existing codebases, and support platform stability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical services.
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture documentation.
  • Ensure software complies with strict security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience, preferably from a product-based IT company.
  • Strong programming skills in Java with good knowledge of multithreading.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithm design.
  • Expert-level knowledge of databases such as Cassandra and MySQL, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools.
  • Cloud expertise in either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with NodeJS and Python is a plus.
