Description

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency backend applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Design REST-based backend services.
  • Develop and maintain low-latency, high-availability services with a focus on system reliability.
  • Debug production issues and maintain existing codebases.
  • Create technical specifications and documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Work with the Bots & Automation team to build the next-generation bot runtime platform.
  • Improve application performance and troubleshoot distributed microservice-based systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience building successful production software systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Java Spring Boot with good knowledge of multithreading.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithm design.
  • Expert-level knowledge of databases such as Cassandra and MySQL, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with data processing tools such as Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with NodeJS and Python is a plus but not necessary.
  • Experience with GCP and AWS is a plus.
