Description

  • Translate clinical trial protocols into accurate, scalable platform configurations and implementation plans.
  • Interpret protocol details and identify their impact on product configuration and participant journeys.
  • Configure clinical trials within the Trial Flow platform from implementation through go-live.
  • Review protocol amendments and assess their impact on participant journeys and product features.
  • Support commercial opportunities by reviewing protocols, contributing to RFP responses, and advising on feasibility, delivery considerations, and risks.
  • Produce and maintain internal trial documentation, including protocol summaries, implementation briefs, statements of activity, and handover documents.
  • Partner with Delivery Managers during customer onboarding and implementation to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clinical trial operations related to protocol interpretation, trial setup, and participant experience.
  • Review customer feedback on trial materials and escalate clinical or patient safety decisions as needed.
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Content, Commercial, Clinical, and Delivery to improve platform capabilities and trial delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in clinical trials, such as Clinical Operations, Trial Management, Research Delivery, Site Operations, Study Coordination, or a similar area.
  • Demonstrable experience interpreting complex clinical trial protocols and translating them into practical operational requirements.
  • Excellent understanding of clinical trial operations and the needs of sponsors, sites, and participants.
  • Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders to explain complex information and build trusted relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical information into clear, practical documentation and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital health products, participant engagement platforms, or clinical technology (desirable).
  • Experience configuring or implementing software platforms for clinical trials (desirable).
  • Experience supporting protocol amendments, RFPs, or bid processes (desirable).
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment (desirable).
  • A relevant clinical qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in a HealthTech, SaaS, or start-up environment (desirable).
  • Experience working in paediatric clinical trials (desirable).
  • Must be based in the UK; the role is hybrid in Leeds or fully remote in the UK, and visa sponsorship is not available.
