Description

Lead comprehensive testing across APIs, services, Kafka-based event workflows, and UI surfaces.
Own automated coverage across unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing, supplemented by risk-based manual testing.
Define CI/CD quality gates, including coverage, contract testing, end-to-end testing, and vulnerability checks.
Partner with Cloud/SRE teams on release readiness, observability, dashboards, and reliability.
Embed testability into application logic, APIs, data models, event contracts, and UI workflows.
Mentor QA engineers and maintain shared QA documentation, playbooks, training, and testing standards.
Collaborate with product owners and developers on requirements, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
Support production releases, incident triage, defect resolution, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Evaluate testing tools and improve environments, test data management, automation stability, and QA cycle time.

Requirements

5–7+ years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience with API and service test automation using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
Experience with UI automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Jasmine.
Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling, k6, or JMeter.
Experience with contract testing, such as Pact or equivalent.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, databases/SQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, and observability concepts including Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
Programming or scripting experience with Java, TypeScript, Groovy, or Python.
Experience with Agile methodologies and strong leadership, coaching, communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; able to attend the required first-week onsite onboarding in Tennessee.

Benefits

Salary range of $130,000–$150,000.
Remote work, with hybrid availability for employees located in Tennessee.
