Description

  • Work on end-to-end classification and forecasting use cases from problem framing through basic deployment support.
  • Explore, clean, and prepare data for analysis and modeling.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data patterns and data quality issues.
  • Engineer features for tabular and time-series datasets.
  • Train, validate, and tune machine learning models, including classical and ensemble methods.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and business KPI impact.
  • Build visualizations and concise reports to present findings and model results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and AI engineers to support model production, including batch scoring, APIs, monitoring, and dashboards.
  • Document data sources, modeling assumptions, and experiment results in a reproducible way.
  • Translate business needs into technical goals by defining success metrics and assessing data feasibility.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities for senior consultant level, if applicable.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with classical data science and machine learning models, such as decision trees, ensemble models, and linear/logistic regression.
  • Strong knowledge of customer analytics concepts or advanced forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with hyperparameter tuning and model validation frameworks.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical plans.
  • Experience with feature engineering and model evaluation.
  • Previous experience in an analytical role supporting business functions is a plus.
  • Fluency in Python and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of common data science and machine learning libraries.
  • Solid experience with at least one cloud platform: Databricks, GCP, or Azure.
  • Basic computer programming skills and understanding of core programming concepts.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience with advanced modeling techniques such as deep learning or reinforcement learning is a plus.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to customer challenges.
  • Understanding of causal machine learning is a nice to have.
  • Experience working with big data and distributed computing environments is a nice to have.
  • Proven commercial experience with successful forecasting projects is a nice to have.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in Python is a nice to have.
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tooling is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with additional languages such as R or Scala is a nice to have.
