Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build backend services using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate in a GitHub-based workflow through version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Optionally contribute to frontend development with TypeScript, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and Node.js.
  • Take ownership of production-ready solutions and deliver reliable software.
  • Communicate effectively and work pragmatically across backend and cloud tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong backend software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience building scalable applications in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, GCS Buckets, networking, and Redis/MemoryStore.
  • Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions for containerization and CI/CD.
  • Comfort working in a GitHub-based development workflow.
  • Nice to have: experience with Celery or background job processing.
  • Nice to have: experience with Databricks or data engineering and analytics platforms.
  • Nice to have: exposure to modern frontend frameworks and full-stack development.
  • Nice to have: strong DevOps mindset and familiarity with cloud infrastructure best practices.
