Description

  • Develop and define test strategies for the LimeSurvey platform.
  • Perform manual testing and acceptance testing for newly developed features and bug fixes.
  • Design and build automated tests to support quality assurance.
  • Develop quality criteria and user acceptance tests (UAT).
  • Build and maintain test infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with external test studios.
  • Support release management activities.
  • Promote testability and increase awareness of testing standards across the team.

Requirements

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in one or more testing methodologies relevant to the LimeSurvey context.
  • Hands-on experience with testing approaches and techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of development tools that support testing activities.
  • Affinity for web technologies and knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, preferably with coding skills.
  • Experience working with ticket and bug-tracking systems.
  • Preferably experience with Travis, PHPUnit, and Selenium with Headless Firefox, as well as React.js tests and Jest.
  • Experience with Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cypress is welcome.
  • Ability to advise on testing strategy, including evaluating Puppeteer for LimeSurvey.
  • Good to very good written and spoken English.
  • Curiosity and a quick mind.
  • Familiarity with the tech stack including Yii-3, Yii-1, PHP frameworks, React.js, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, Bootstrap 5, Redis, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, Docker, CI, and CD.
